I'm Rich Taunt.
I help organisations think better. More clarity, less noise, sharper focus.
I work with a small number of organisations in health, care and public services, at moments when what happens next really matters. What I offer is a relationship: blocks of days over six months, one person who gets to know your world and stays in it.
This is the place I help you create: room to think, inside your own organisation. I work in your language and your context, I get to the heart of things quickly, and I'm decent company while we do it. When the work needs more hands, I bring in people I trust.
I've spent over twenty years in and around health and purpose-led organisations: government, think-tanks, regulation, providers, charities and consultancy. I founded and led the radical social enterprise Kaleidoscope Health and Care for a decade. I was Chair of the quite frankly awesome community provider Here, and Deputy Chair of the unbelievable - and much missed - House of St Barnabas.
Along the way I've helped dozens of organisations, hundreds of leaders, and thousands of citizens and staff unpick their trickiest issues and find a practical way forward. It's the work I like best. This Is The Place is that work, given its own space.
